An original production cel and background setup from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series Super Friends (c.1970). Featuring a great image of Superman, the hand-painted cel has been paired with a hand-painted background that is also from the series, but is not matching to the cel. The cel and background were created at the studio and used during production, representing actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear in the cartoon. The matching production drawing of Superman is also included. Measuring 14.5"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 4.5"x3.5", the cel is in good condition with some line wear and paint damage due to cels sticking together in the studio's storage. The background is in very good condition.
